Computed tomography - New Siemens Somatom go.Top CT Scanner

EVINOR IAE, as part of the continuous upgrade of its services, now has the new state-of-the-art 128-slice Somatom go.Top CT scanner from Siemens Healthineers, with the most modern technology to reduce radiation dose by up to 11 times compared to older generation CT scanners.

It incorporates the most modern low-dose technologies (Tin Filter, Stellar Detector, SAFIRE) and has the ability to perform highly diagnostic cardiac examinations (CT angiographies, CT coronary angiographies, cardiac function analysis and imaging of cardiac vessels, etc.).

This specific machine has the technology to perform low-dose CT for lung cancer (low-dose CT or LDCT), which is the only pre-symptomatic screening tool for those aged 50 and over for the detection of lung cancer.

All CT examinations are performed in minimal time.
