Bone Density Measurement

Excellus is a type of bone densitometer that uses Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) technology to assess bone density. It is manufactured by OsteoSys and features Fan Beam technology for faster and more accurate measurements.

What is bone density measurement used for?

DXA bone density measurement is the most reliable test for diagnosing osteoporosis, a condition that makes bones weaker and more susceptible to fractures.
